HondaJet 2600

Honda took its first step into the aviation private jet market back in 2006 with its much anticipated debut of its HondaJet. The light jet is popular due to its distinct Over-The-Wing-Engine-Mount configuration, or OTWEM. This unique design allows the engine noise to remain away from the cabin, making the HondaJet one of the quietest jets on the market.
Last year, HondaJet released the first major upgrade to its aviation company with the HondaJet 2600 Concept. This concept is slated for release in 2025. Honda has implemented many additions with the new HondaJet 2600 concept.

Interior

Honda continues its reputation of elegant and modern interiors with their latest aircraft. Keeping the same style, Honda has upgraded the functionality of their seats by enabling a 180-degree swivel.
A completely new layout allows for a bed to be configured in the rear of the cabin, while a full standing galley in the front is a nice addition as well. The new layout allows for seating up to 11 passengers.

Upgrades

This concept jet aims to drastically change the aviation market. To do this, Honda has designed a few major upgrades. A carbon composite fuselage is one of the main changes. The carbon composite fuselage is lighter than traditional aluminum. Another major change is the Natural Laminar Flow technology that Honda has implemented in this concept. This technology, implemented on the wing and the nose, allows less drag than the traditional skin of an aircraft.
The aircraft is designed to cut Co2 emissions significantly during use. In addition, the service ceiling for the 2600 concept is a staggering 46,000 feet. Pair that with a 2,600 nautical mile range and a plus 425 knot cruise, and the HondaJet 2600 performs like a midsize jet.
